Prices + How To Work With Me

Hourly rate for clients in Norway: $150+25% VAT

Hourly rate for clients outside of Norway: $50-150

(depending on the scope of your project, no additional taxes)

We will have a video call on WhatsApp/FaceTime/Zoom/Messenger first to find out if we are a good fit and I will give you a price estimate based your project and the work and time it will most likely take me to complete it.

I have 20 years of experience, I work very fast, I'm not cheap but also not expensive. I will treat everyone fairly and with a mix of German directness and Norwegian politeness.

I only take on projects which can be completed in about 2-12 hours of total work time (ca 3 evenings). Thus projects start at $100 (e.g. simple cover art/video editing) and range up to about $1800 (e.g. advanced lyric video)

How I made a "tough" cover artwork on a budget in 2007

The goal was to create a cover that should be "tough, electronic, urban, unique" and feature a "dramatic and cool" picture of the artist against a "possibly black background with dramatic lights"

The challenge was that we didn't have a studio. So in order to get the "dramatic lights" from behind the talent, we took pictures against the sun outside. This way we wouldn't get realistic colors, but at least proper light from behind.

After some cutting out in Photoshop, adding lights, ink textures and a unique, dramatic font, the cover was completed.

How I made a "meditational" cover artwork on a budget in 2022

The goal was to create a cover that should be both "lonely" and "beautiful/calming" for my own meditational lo-fi beats project: Lovable Sounds

The challenge was that I can't draw to create a typical lo-fi artwork like the famous "lo-fi girl" image, I also didn't want to create a cover that looked too much like a hiphop design, nor like a cheesy Instagram quote.

I combined a photo of the beautiful Norwegian nature around me on a foggy day, with just a touch of sun peeking through over the little islands in the Oslo fjord, with some bold large font that would be visible even when the cover is shown at a very small size.

How I made a "urban" cover artwork without photos on a budget in 2011

The goal was to create an "urban" cover that should be different than any cover art that the group had released before, to highlight the new "urban hiphop-pop" sound of the artist/group.

The challenge was that this group is made of an ever changing group of singers/people and thus they wanted to have no photo of any person on the cover.

I combined several photos of textures and posterized a stockphoto of a skyscraper to create a youthful, colorful, yet urban, dark and very different cover artwork.

Need A Website?

Brizy.cloud is a great way for you to build one or more websites and blogs yourself, especially if you are frustrated with WordPress!

Brizy.cloud is easier, more modern and faster to load and work with. You can design from scratch or use one of the about 50 layouts ("Themes" in WP) or use the around 500 pre-designed blocks to start from.

1 website is usually $79/year at www.brizy.cloud but you can buy directly from me for these prices:

1 website: $60/year

5 websites: $150/year

How Brizy.cloud compares to other website builders

  • If you want a super-easy to create musician website I recommend BandZoogle (ca $160/year)
  • If you need to keep it cheap and don't mind very complicated set-up & maintanance, maybe Wordpress.org could be for you.
  • Wix.com and Squarespace.com are more expensive and can be easy to use but are not musician focused.
  • If you are looking for a good middle ground of both easy to use and more affordable (especially if you have more than 1 website), than Brizy.cloud can be the perfect choice. (Click on "Learn more" to try it for free, without needing to create an account - then email me if you like it and want a better deal.)

Additionally, if you use Brizy.cloud you can design by yourself at first, add your photos and content and then book me for a few hours to look over it and improve it.
